Are you a mover? A lover of art? Join us for Art Shapers, where visual arts collide with dance!

An exclusive 8-week pilot program set amidst the captivating backdrop of Wollumbin/Mt Warning at the Tweed Regional Gallery.

Here’s your chance to explore the gallery’s exceptional exhibitions while unleashing your creativity through both visual and movement-based practices.

This program will be facilitated by 2023 Regional NSW Choreographic Research Fellow Geraldine Balcazar and recent Byron School of Art graduate, Visual Artist Chelsea Jewell.

 

Program includes: 

  • – 8 week pilot workshop
  • – Wednesdays 2pm – 4pm
  • – Tweed Regional Gallery
  • – Explore the gallery and its exhibitions while making both visual and movement-based work.
  • – Develop skills in dance, movement, improvisation and visual arts practices.
  • – Program capped at 10 participants to ensure dedicated attention
  • – Our facilitators work collaboratively with participants, families, carers and support staff to cater to all participant needs, please get in touch to discuss with our team further
  • – For ages 16 years and older
