As We Stumble Along

Mitch is a 2021 music theatre graduate from VCA (Victorian College of the Arts)with a great love of cabaret and the intimacy and excitement of a show in an personal setting. Mitch’s show is a life affirming positive journey with music around the theme of picking up and moving your life forward in difficult times. Having sufffered through the longest lock down of any city in the world (Melbourne!!), which so affected his time at VCA, comes a show full of fun and energy and encouraging audiences to move forward with positivity.

The show is brimming with music theatre hits and classic standards, many also demonstrate Mitch’s tap dancing skills and his playing of the bass. He is currently co starring in the Australian premiere production of the musical “Jekyll and Hyde” at the Hayes Theatre in Sydney, so as of course, the show will feature the hit song from that show “This is the Moment”. Other familiar songs that pepper the night include “That’s Life”, “Song and Dance Man”, “Something’s Coming; (from ”West Side Story”) Billy Joel hits-“Vienna” and “Only the Good Die Young”, “Save the Last Dance for Me”, a Stephen Sondheim tribute and the song that helped launched David Campbell’s career in America –“Yard Sale”.

Mitch is accompanied on piano by Sydney Conservatorium graduate Ellen Buckley who will also join with him in a battle of the bass music interprement in one fabulous show stopper.

Also expect an unexpected guest artist.

The concert will be held in the Flutterbies Piano Room. Ticket includes a glass of champagne on arrival.

Saturday night performance – Tapas and Cocktails available from 6pm. 

Sunday Afternoon, book in at Flutterbies Cafe for lunch before the concert.
