Supertonic explores the vibrant musical world of the Northern Rivers and Gold Coast through recordings, scores, instruments, sounds, and stories of people creating music.

The exhibition is multi-sensory using interactive technology to augment your reality, experiencing your favourite bands like never before.

Featuring:  Amy Shark / Amyl and the Sniffers / Ash Grunwald / Babe Rainbow / Budjerah / Grinspoon / Iggy Azalea / Bobby Alu / The Jezabels / JK-47 / Kate Miller-Heidke / Matt Corby / Ngaiire / Ocean Alley / Parkway Drive / Pete Murray / Skegss / Stan Walker / Sunnyboys / Tora / Troy Cassar-Daley / Wolfmother

Bust a move at our interactive installation. Your body movements will trigger sound bites prerecorded by local musicians and flora and fauna icons on our digital screen, resulting in your very own musical score and live moving mural

You can also spin vinyl in our 1970s inspired Loune Room, create album cover art, vote for your favourite song, and enjoy a range of events on throughout the exhibition.

Explore what the Northern Rivers sounds like and celebrate the area’s unique culture and history through music and sound.
