Hard Cover Artist Sketchbook Workshop

Join me in this very special week of making and learning as we craft a text block and case bind your own artist sketchbook. Case binding allows you to create a hardcover book with a hard spine, it is durable, functional and beautiful. In this half-day workshop you’ll be working with a range of excellent quality papers, fine waxed thread and archival materials to create an A6 pocket-sized tome that is the perfect companion for plein air sketching, travelling and observing the everyday in image and word.

All materials will be supplied, along with take-home instruction and reference sheets so that you can easily continue your making outside of the studio.

This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience, some prior bookbinding experience may be useful but is not essential.  Ages 16+
