Intro to Sound Healing – A training workshop with Annie Ridgway

Are you an allied health or alternative health practitioner who would like to include some sound healing into your 1 on 1 or group sessions? Would you like to learn more about sound healing to use for your own healing? Are you interested to learn more about the principles behind sound healing?

This introduction to sound healing course will introduce you to some key skills and principles so you can offer a short sound healing session for clients as part of your healing or health sessions or retreats. This workshop will introduce you to some key sound healing instruments and receive guidance on how to play them to achieve the best results for your clients. You will leave with the tools to complete a short sound healing session for your clients. You will also get to enjoy the healing benefits of a sound bath.

This introduction is just a taster of sound healing which could be followed by the certificate or diploma qualification to become a certified sound healer and develop a deeper understanding of this modality to support your clients with their healing.

Annie Ridgway is the Global Lead Associate Teacher with The Sound Healing Academy in the UK and regularly teachers certified sound healing certificates and diplomas. She is a fully qualified Sound Healing Practitioner, a musician, and singer/songwriter who, has led workshops on singing and sound for over 10 years both in Australia and overseas. As an accomplished musician, she has conducted many singing and songwriting workshops and performed at many Australian Folk festivals including the National and the Blue Mountains Folk festivals. Annie has produced 4 CDs over the past decade including; “Chakra Swoon” ,which is a seven-track meditation on the Chakras, comprised of sounds such as Tibetan Singing bowls and voice for stress management and relaxation.
