Join the Friends of Tweed Regional Gallery and celebrate women artists – see their art, hear their stories, and know their names. This tour supports the National Gallery of Australia’s Know My Name initiative to recognise and highlight Women artists and their contribution to Australia’s cultural life.

Gain insights into the practice of three Australian Women Artists working in the Northern Rivers today. Begin the studio bus tour at Tweed Regional Gallery and travel to the studios of Helle Jorgensen, Leonie Lane and Robyn Sweaney. Enjoy a snack pack and cold drink prepared by the Friends of Tweed Regional Gallery and purchase your lunch in one of the many cafes in the charming village of Bangalow.

8.30 am Meet at Tweed Regional Gallery 

9.00 am – 12.00 pm Studios 1 & 2: Robyn Sweaney, Murwillumbah & Helle Jorgensen, Upper Duroby Creek Rd

12.30 pm – 2.30 am lunch in Bangalow 

2.50 pm Studio 3: Leonie Lane, Booyong

5.15 pm return to Tweed Regional Gallery
