You don’t want to miss the million-dollar transformation of our famous Tweed Coast attraction, which is one of the largest privately-funded marine education facilities in Australia.  Immerse yourself in the wonders of the deep, and the shallows too, these school holidays with additional sessions every Tuesday and Tursday.

Join our Eco-Gudies on a discovery of our ecosystems and the animal communities found in Hastings Point.

Take your time to then enjoy the showcase of state-of-the-art light and sound technology, interactive digital terminals and world-class marine and coastal science displays.

The Marine Discovery Centre is designed to inspire and educate people of all ages. It helps visitors to understand and care for the aquatic environment, its inhabitants and vital eco-systems and learn about the unprecedented challenges of climate change, marine litter and plastic waste, pollutants and fishing.
