Regenerating Australia Screening + Our Place In Community?

Open to community – Screening of Regenerating Australia followed by community event with food trucks. From 5:30 pm, 15 June. 

As the traditional perception of architecture in the regions has shifted dramatically, the Regional Architecture Association poses questions around placemaking, where we sit in a greater regional context – and how to advocate for better design solutions, which go beyond aesthetics and reach communities.

At our second annual conference the RAA confronts the question:  
What is the place of architecture in communities? 

Join us for three days of the RAA in Conversation. Commencing with a tour visiting exemplar Northern Rivers regional architecture including lunch, tour and tastings at brewery Stone & Wood, presented by its’ architect, Harley Graham.

Presentations from filmmaker Nikolas Strugar from Ravens at Odds with Aspect Architecture’s Matt Cooper will recognise the launch of the RAA Showcase film on Kingscliff Community Centre followed by a community-focused event, an exclusive screening of Regenerating Australia and a celebration of an overwhelmingly successful first year of the RAA.
