Robyn Mannes – Ikigai

Drinks Sat 1st June 2pm to 4pm

Ikigai means “what you are good at; what you love and what you are paid for”. It sums up my outlook on life. A reason for being, life’s purpose, happiness, joy. Painting inspires me to get out of bed every day.

Robyn was born in Sydney into a long family line of painters. Robyn Is self-taught in many diverse art forms and currently exploring fluid art techniques in contemporary abstract art.
Nature’s beauty is Robyn’s inspiration for painting and her focus is mainly on landscapes in various forms which is achieved through the fluidity of the paint. Its many different colour combinations and layering techniques are used to capture movement, depth, and textures of the landscape. Her work evokes emotions in the viewer and generates a sense of intrigue and exploration. Robyn’s paintings are held in Private Collections all around Australia.
