safeTALK – Suicide Awareness and Helpers Training

Become more aware of people struggling with thoughts of suicide and learn what you can do to help keep them safe.
This training workshop prepares participant to be more alert to people thinking about suicide and better able to connect them to help. This training is ideal for people that want to build a culture of safety from suicide in their community or organization. The training is engaging and interactive and participants will come away with practical skills and tools to better help people who are thinking about suicide to stay safe and get the help they need.
Participants will get a Completion Certificate. The course is recognized by NESA and a few other organizations for continuing education credits.
Must 15 or older to attend
Seats are limited and participants must register to attend.
Morning tea provided and lunch will follow for those interested.
