Thamos, King of Egypt and Broadway Musical Faves

Your Big Musical Faves! Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, South Pacific – hear selections performed by the Coolamon Singers, the Gold Coast choir with the growing reputation for stunning performances. Directed by  Marco Bellasi  and accompanied by pianist Ayesha Gough, the singers, including outstanding young Gold Coast soloists,  will take you on a musical journey through the challenges of emerging love and idealism. This live music event will also include the Gold Coast premiere of young Mozart’s first music theatre program, Thamos, King of Egypt, written when the composer was just twenty-three years old. It’s an afternoon for the young at heart!
