Details

The Wollumbin Youth Art Award (WYAA) is a biennial award for young artists aged 5 to 18 years. Held in conjunction with the Wollumbin Art Award, the WYAA is open to young people living in the Tweed, Byron, Ballina, Kyogle, Scenic Rim Shires as well as Richmond Valley, Lismore and Gold Coast City.

The Award explores unique and diverse local perspectives and celebrates the artistic talent and creativity of young people living in the region.

The 2024 WYAA judge is Jodi Ferrari, Curator of the Children’s Gallery, HOTA Home of the Arts.

A Tweed Regional Gallery initiative.
