Details

Located in Murwillumbah, Kat Harvey Cheese offers a distinctive cheese tasting workshop experience ideal for groups, conference delegates, incentive travel, and team building activities in The Tweed. Designed to be immersive, social and sensory-led, these workshops are a memorable addition to business events, corporate retreats and group itineraries.

Led by renowned cheesemaker and cheesemonger Kat Harvey, each workshop runs for 1.52 hours and combines expert storytelling with guided tastings of premium Australian and imported cheeses. Groups are welcomed with a drink on arrival before being guided through a curated selection of five to six exceptional cheeses, thoughtfully matched with accompaniments such as smoked beets, creamed honey, fresh fruit, crackers and fruit cake.

Kat’s conversational style brings cheese to life, exploring flavour profiles, cheese-making techniques, regional traditions, and the science of maturation and ageing. Guests use a cheese tasting wheel and receive a hand-painted tasting zine, making the experience both educational and interactive.

Perfect for conference breakouts, executive groups, team bonding sessions or bespoke private events, workshops can be tailored to suit group size, timing and taste preferences. Kat Harvey Cheese delivers an authentic, locally grounded experience that connects people through food, conversation and flavour.
