Autumn Equinox Immersion with Goddesses Pomona and Persephone

Autumn Equinox Immersion – Saturday 22nd March Chillingham Northern Rivers.

Join me to honour the equalising energies of Autumn Equinox and to embrace the abundance of the autumnal Harvest, as Nature begins to wrap her cool saffron cloak around the land. It is time to begin to prepare and gather resources for the way ahead as the energies of day and night flow into equilibrium.

As darkness and light merge in their seasonal dance of harmony, the orchards ripen and the leaves fall, and we enter the season of Pomona, Roman wood nymph of orchards, fruit trees and gardens; and Grecian goddess Kore (Persephone), who prepares now to descend into the Underworld and reclaim her role as Chthonic Queen.

The story of Persephone, Demeter and Hades gave rise to the story of the seasons in ancient times and as deities and archetypal energies are a powerful way to connect with natures cycles and to adjust our own internal compass to the external world. During this threshold time we are reminded of the rhythms and cycles that surround us, and that dwell within us.

And Pomona is here to encourage us to take stock of the abundance that surrounds us and to be grateful for all that we have and also all that we have created over the lighter warmer months.

At this time of harvest, of wild winds and falling leaves, of ripening food and turning tides, of respite from the intensity of heat and humidity, we embrace this tipping point of transitional change, of initiation, of reflection, of contemplation and of celebration for the bounty of nature.

As Equinox both the traditional wheel date and the exact date for 2026 fall upon the same day, we will gather, in circle for ceremony, crafting and journeying with the goddesses Persephone and Pomona and honour the season of plenty and the beginning of descent.

What to expect: a supported space of connection held by a highly experienced facilitator, in communion with the goddesses and the Autumnal Equinox energies with likeminded pagans and witches. Knowledge sharing, ceremony, guided journeying, time in nature (weather permitting) including by the creek.

What to bring:

Mat/cushion for journeying (one cushion per person supplied), journal and pen, bottle of water, natural offering for the Autumn Equinox Altar, and a plate of food to share for our communal lunch. Feel free to wear something autumnal or Equniox (balancing) aligned.

The Venue:

We have a lovely rustic intimate venue set in community gardens and a short walk from the creek. Please note that it is the community gardens hall not the hall across from the Chillingham store.

Time:

We begin at 10am so please arrive by 9.45 so we can start on time. We finish between 3.30/4pm – goddess time.!

Note: if the weather permitting we will be outside and down at the creek so bring outside shoes (the creek is stony) and swimmers and a towel, and hat and sunscreen. After the gather there will be an opportunity to swim, weather permitting, it is presumed that you are able to swim, Sanctum of the Rose is not responsible for your water based safety.

This will be my last offering for a few months as I prepare to travel to Türkiye and Greece in April, I am only offering 10 spaces for this gathering so get in quick to secure yours.

My name is Jenni-Rose (Jen/JR) I have been a space holder, ceremonialist, holistic therapist, mentor, priestess and practicing pagan witch for over 20 years. I am a qualified Yoga Nidra and Holistic meditation facilitator and Death Walker who regularly dwells in the liminal. It is my honour to guide and create supported spaces of connection and sharing for those seeking nature based spaces of communion.
