Cake queen and popular cookbook author & television presenter Belinda Jeffery joins chef & author Christine Manfield for this morning tea of conversation with cake. Storytelling, food writing and the sharing of food lies at the heart of community, reflecting our broad cultural heritage. Both believe that food is an immediate connection and cause for celebration when shared with family, friends & food lovers.

They’ll be talking books, the skill of writing about food and cooking, in the home and professional kitchen, and baking for pleasure and comfort. Long time food friends, Belinda & Christine are both bringing along home made cakes and biscuits to serve, along with steaming pots of Tweed produced teas from Madura Tea Estate. Food cooked with love that’s evident in every bite, listen in as they share a few tips along the way. There’ll be time towards the end for a Q&A session and both authors will have copies of their books available for sale, the ideal opportunity to get yourself a personalised signed copy to take home & treasure.
