For over 40 years, Richard Clapton has been the voice of a generation, charting the political landscape and personal journeys of Australians through his poetic lyrics and melodic rock. From his groundbreaking 1973 album Prussian Blue, featuring the enduring “I Wanna Be A Survivor,” to his No.1 hit “Girls On The Avenue” in 1975, Clapton’s songs have become an integral part of the Australian soundtrack.

Expect to hear all the perennial favourites that have resonated deeply with fans for decades, including “Capricorn Dancer,” “Deep Water,” “I Am An Island,” and many more. Richard Clapton has masterfully balanced radio-friendly tunes with candid, heartfelt lyrics, a skill that cemented his place as a mentor to rising stars like INXS, Jimmy Barnes, and Cold Chisel.

Having released over 20 albums with cumulative sales exceeding one million, and as the only rock artist to receive an Australia Council arts grant, Richard Clapton’s career is a testament to his enduring talent and resilience. In 1999, he was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, further solidifying his iconic status.
