Learning Objectives for the Workshop:

  • Safely apply Vacuum-Assisted Closure (V.A.C.) and Veraflo Therapy techniques.
  • Identify and select suitable cases for the application of V.A.C. and Veraflo Therapy.
  • Achieve proficiency in dressing wounds that present complex challenges or are situated in anatomically difficult regions.
  • Exhibit the capacity to troubleshoot and utilize Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) equipment effectively.
  • Choose the correct NPWT dressings and complementary adjunct dressings for various wound types.
  • Gain an understanding of the available resources and tools that highlight best practices supported by clinical evidence.
