Join Denise Galle, Tweed Shire Council’s Director of Planning and Regulation, as she explains the legislation with real case studies, showing how and when agritourism may be a viable option for your farm. You will also hear from Eli Szandala, Program Leader for Sustainable Agriculture at Tweed Shire Council, who will highlight the importance of farmland in the Tweed and why protecting it is critical for our future.

This workshop will help you understand agritourism provisions and explore how they can create new opportunities for your farm while supporting the prosperity and sustainability of our region’s food bowl for generations to come. Learn how agritourism can grow your farm while balancing the essential need to protect our agricultural future.
