Details

The 2026 Australian Longboard Titles will take place on the Tweed Coast, NSW, from July 25–30, featuring top surfers across divisions from Under 18s to Over 70s. Held at iconic surf spots including Cabarita Beach and Kingscliff, the event acts as a key qualifier for ‘The Irukandjis’ Australian National Surfing Team.

Key Details for 2026 Dates:

  1.  Saturday, July 25 – Thursday, July 30, 2026.
  2. Location: Tweed Coast, NSW (ranging from Duranbah in the north to Hastings Point in the south).
  3. Divisions: Includes Masters (Over 40-70) and Open Men’s and Women’s divisions.
  4. Highlights: The event decides the national longboard champions, with Open winners earning a place on the Australian National Surfing Team for the ISA World Longboard Championship.
  5. Coverage: Results are often tracked live at Live Heats and Surfing Australia social media channels. 

The competition returns to the Tweed for its third year following a successful 2025 event, bringing over 200 competitors to the region.
