Details

You’re invited to Climate catch up: building momentum, an opportunity to be inspired by Husk Farm Distillery’s sustainability journey and to take a deep dive into current climate action projects in the Tweed.

Quentin Brival, CEO of Husk Farm Distillery, will give us a behind the scenes look at Husk’s sustainability journey, showcasing initiatives to reduce the distillery’s energy, water and waste impact. As a runner up in the 2023 Tweed Sustainability Awards, Quentin will take you on a tour, answer your questions and give you some inspiration from their experiences.

Following this look into real life progress, you’ll have the opportunity to take a deep dive into some live climate action projects in the Tweed. From Food Aware to Citizen Science, Electrification, EVs for Wildlife Carers, Rewilding Backyards, Planting Trees and Energy Affordability projects, you’ll have the chance to bring your perspectives and experiences to these community-led projects, to build momentum and take away practical next steps.

At the end of the evening, we’ll hear exciting news from Tweed Climate Action Now, the community group that seeks to make it as simple as possible for locals to get involved.

So come along and find out what’s happening in local climate and environmental action. No prior experience necessary!

Food will be provided (vegan). Attendees may purchase own drinks if desired.

Please register for planning and catering purposes.
