We’re inviting the Kingscliff community to attend our FREE Community Workshop.

What you’ll learn:

  • Understand common mental health illnesses and disorders

  • Identify warning signs and symptoms of poor mental health

  • Develop techniques for discussing mental health issues and suicide

  • Support yourself and others experiencing poor mental health

Accreditation and Certification

The workshop provides a certification from:

  • Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) for CPD points

  • Fitness Australia for Continuing Education Credits (CEC)

  • Australian Counselling Association (ACA) for Ongoing Professional Development

Event details:

  • When: Tuesday 24 November (9.00am – 1.00pm).

  • Where: Kingscliff Beach Bowling Club (131 Marine Parade, Kingscliff).

  • Catering: Light refreshments will be provided. Bring a Water Bottle.

  • Restrictions: This workshop is designed for adults over 18 years old.

The Mental Health Response Workshop is supported by Mongrels Men – a community-based charity dedicated to preventing mental health illnesses, disorders and suicide impacting Australian men.
