Our 2nd major concert for this year is called “THE BEATLES MEET THE LION KING”.

Sounds intriguing don’t you think?

As the name suggests, the concert will highlight the music of THE BEATLES and the music from the movie, THE LION KING.

The program was actually inspired by the movie.

If you watched the Lion King, you will recall that when Simba left his homeland he had to adapt to a new diet which consisted of worms and beetles.

Thus the Lion King had a meeting with BEETLES.

The concert is however a reversal of that whereby the Beatles meet the Lion King.

The encounter will of course be a sumptuous feast to the ears and not the stomach.

This wonderful program will include many of the hits from the Beatles including, ‘HEY JUDE, ELEANOR RIGBY, YESTERDAY, LET IT BE, IMAGINE, I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND” and more.

This will be coupled with I JUST CAN’T WAIT TO BE KING, CIRCLE OF LIFE, BE PREPARED, HAKUNA MATATA and CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE TONIGHT from the Lion King.

This concert promises to be not only beautiful and nostalgic, but also a lot of fun.

Also make sure you come along with your vocal chords tuned as I’m sure many will be tempted to sing along.

We will all be exercising our singing at the end of the concert.
