About

“The Sum of Us” by David Stevens is a heartfelt Australian play about a widowed father and his gay son navigating love, identity, and acceptance. Through humour and honesty, it challenges prejudice while celebrating unconditional family support, resilience, and the universal search for belonging and meaningful human connection.

Please note that there is no allocated seating, and the shows will be performed in a version of ‘theatre in the round’ at floor level. As such, there are no cabaret style tables and chairs, and no outside food and drink can be brought in to the venue. Tea, coffee and refreshments will be for sale at all shows, and alcohol and light meals will also be for sale at each evening performance.

Opening Night Special (Thursday 23 July) – a free glass of bubbly, beer or orange juice for all attendees!
