About

Enjoy a relaxed BBQ lunch and the opportunity to connect with fellow volunteers. You’ll also receive a special preview of an exciting new exhibition in the Tweed Regional Museum’s Museum on Wheels (MoW), offering an exclusive first look at this engaging new experience.

This event is being held during Local Government Week and Landcare week to recognise the invaluable contribution of our volunteers across the Tweed.

The MoW exhibition will showcase the inspiring work of Nature Care groups who have played a vital role in caring for the Tweed’s natural environment. With around 200 active volunteers across 16 groups, their efforts have helped protect and enhance our region for decades.

While we celebrate the achievements of Nature Care volunteers, this event is for all volunteers across Council programs. Your contribution, no matter the program, is valued and appreciated, and this event is our chance to say thank you.

Bookings essential.
