Join North Coast Local Land Services for a practical workshop covering key livestock health and husbandry topics to help you manage healthy and productive livestock.

Event details:

Hear from our Sustainable Agriculture and Animal Health teams and gain practical, up-to-date advice you can apply on-farm.

Topics will include:

  • calendar of operations

  • best-practice animal husbandry

  • buffalo fly and worm management options

  • practical drenching and vaccination tips, including gun calibration and avoiding injection-site lumps

  • feeding and supplementation options.

This indoor workshop is ideal for landholders looking to build their knowledge and confidence in livestock health and husbandry.

Additional details:

  • Morning tea and a light lunch will be provided.

Event locations and dates:

This workshop series will be held in Wauchope, Grafton and Murwillumbah. Similar workshops will be held for the North Coast Women in Livestock Groups at Dorrigo and Macksville.
